Parent-controlled playdates

Playdates matched by who your child really is.

PlayPal helps parents find safe, compatible playmates nearby — matched on age, interests, personality and how close you are. Inclusive, neurodiverse-friendly, and private by design.

How it works

Three simple steps

Set up in minutes, then let the matching do the work.

1

Create your family

Add yourself and your children with friendly avatars and a few interests. No photos, no surnames — you choose what to share.

2

Find compatible playmates

See nearby families matched on age, shared interests, personality and distance. Filter by traits, languages and support needs.

3

Meet safely

Send a playdate invite or create an event, choose a public place, and plan the details in parent-to-parent chat. Always your call.

Why parents love it

Thoughtful where it matters

Built for real families — safe, inclusive and refreshingly private.

🧩

Personality matching

More than age. We weigh interests, energy, social style and distance so the match actually clicks.

🌈

Built for every child

Neurodiverse-friendly by design, with support-need tags and calm, sensory-friendly options.

📅

Your own events

Host public meetups or private, invite-only gatherings — birthdays, park days, book clubs — and invite the families you choose.

🔒

Private by design

First names only, no personal data, and only a rough, offset distance — never an exact location.

🗺️

See who's nearby

A live map of nearby families using your phone's location — shown as an approximate distance to protect everyone.

🌍

In your language

English, العربية, Русский and 한국어 — with full right-to-left support for Arabic.

Safety first

Safety isn't a feature. It's the whole point.

PlayPal is designed so that you — the parent — are always in control of who your family meets, and how.

  • 🛡️Public places only. Every meetup happens in a public space — a park, café or partner venue — never a home.
  • 🧒Children stay protected. Kids never chat and never appear in photos. Everything runs through you.
  • 🚫Report & block, one tap away. A safety centre, reporting and blocking tools are always within reach.
  • 📍Location stays fuzzy. Others only ever see a rough, offset distance — your exact spot is never shared.
Honest note: PlayPal helps parents connect, but we don't run background checks or vet members. You decide who to meet and supervise your children at all times.

Questions

Frequently asked

The things parents ask us most.

Is PlayPal free?

Yes — it's completely free during our pilot, and we'll always keep a free way for families to connect.

Is my child's exact location ever shared?

Never. Others only ever see a rough, offset distance (like "~2 km") — never your home or a precise pin. You also control whether your location shows at all.

Do children have accounts or chat with each other?

No. PlayPal is used by parents only. Children are shown as avatars, never chat, and never appear in photos — everything runs through you.

Do you run background checks on members?

We don't, and we're upfront about it. PlayPal helps parents connect, but you decide who to meet — always in a public place, always supervising your own children.

How does the matching work?

We suggest playmates by age, shared interests, personality and how close you are — and you can filter by traits, languages and support needs to find the right fit.

What languages is it available in?

English, العربية (Arabic), Русский (Russian) and 한국어 (Korean) — with full right-to-left support for Arabic.

Ready to find their next best friend?

Free during our pilot. Set up your family in a couple of minutes.
